• Do not iron directly on the print  always iron inside out or with a pressing cloth

• Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight
• Keep transfers flat or loosely rolled never folded
• Avoid humidity; moisture can affect the adhesive powder
• Most transfers remain press-ready for 12-24 months when stored correctly

Common DTF Durability Problems (And How to Fix Them)

Peeling edges after one wash: Usually caused by insufficient press time or pressure. Re-press at proper settings with firm pressure, making sure to press all edges.

Cracking after several washes: Often caused by pressing at too-high a temperature, which over-cures the adhesive. Lower your temp by 5-10°F and retest.

Color fading quickly: Washing in hot water or using harsh detergents. Reinforce cold-water washing instructions with your customers.

Transfer not sticking initially: Fabric may have moisture or fabric softener residue. Always pre-press blanks for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture before applying the transfer.
